Through Tully Free Library's CNYFi program, you can borrow Chromebook laptops and accompanying Verizon Internet hotspots that allow you to connect to the Internet for free from anywhere. The hotspots allow 10 devices (phones, computers, tablets) to connect to the Internet, so that multiple users will have free Internet access at the same time.
The CNYFi kits can be borrowed by Onondaga County library card holders for a loan period of 2 weeks. Borrowers must be 18 years old and have a library card in good standing. First-time kit borrowers must complete a workshop about how the kit works with library staff.
There is currently a waiting list for the CNYFi kits. To add yourself to the list, you can fill out the form below and we will contact you when a kit is available.
The library is one of several libraries across the Central New York region participating in CNYFi, thanks to a grant received by the Central New York Library Resources Council (CLRC).
