Pushing the Limits Book Club has returned and will continue throughout 2019. We are extremely excited to bring back this program and hope you are too! For anyone who was not with us before, Pushing the Limits is a book club dedicated to reading and discussing popular books about science. Our titles have ranged from memoirs such as Lab Girl by Hope Jahren to novels with heavy scientific inspiration such as Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel. Each month we pick a book to read together and then discuss it with a professor of science or other local expert.
We are determined to keep Pushing the Limits going, so if you are a local scientist or professor of science, consider leading one of our book discussions. Anyone interested should send questions or suggestions to email@example.com.
Our first Pushing the Limits Book Club meeting will be on February 28th at 6:00 pm in Tully Free Library. February’s book and discussion leader will be announced this week and books will be in the library shortly. Come by and pick one up in the next few days!
