Science Fair a Great Success

On March 7, 2015, we hosted our first Science Fair. Students in grades 2 through 6 were invited to explore whatever scientific questions they desired and share their research, experiments or findings with the community here at the library. More than twenty students participated, with as many projects, covering everything from the theory of the multiverse to which angle of ramp made for the most awesome snowboard jumps†. There are more pictures of this event on our facebook page.

† 45° according to our researchers.

Tully Free Library is springing into action this winter.

Creativity is blooming recently at the Tully Free Library. From Maker Mondays and their para-cord survival bracelets.... to Letters and Lines growing the roots of literature by exploring the arts of writing. The Youth Advisory Council has also been active planting the seeds among the fields of discovery and adventure for our growing minds, looking to our summer reading program for more making excitement.
