WHAT IS THE YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL?

The Tully Free Library Youth Advisory Council (YAC) was formed in December 2014 to involve pre-teens and teens (Ages 11-18) in the library.  Being apart of YAC means that you are a role model to others and are seen as part of our library in the community.  A member of YAC is essential to our growing development of Youth Services here at Tully Free Library by partaking in collection development, programming, and volunteering.  The Tully Free Library YAC holds monthly meetings, sponsors activities and programs for other teens in our community throughout the year, and helps tie the library into our community by volunteering outside of the library.

Our Mission

The mission of the Youth Advisory Council (YAC) of the Tully Free Library is to promote and enhance library services for pre-teens and teens in our area, and helping the outer community by volunteering.

 Benefits

  • Give input to what you want to see in our library
  • Put your work here on your resume and college applications
  • Earn volunteer credit hours for school
  • Have fun!
